VW T6 150bhp HIGHLINE - CAMPER CONVERSION

This 2016 150bhp T6 Highline camper van is another conversion for our commercial customer, Handsfree. Fresh from their fleet with 120,000 motorway miles this van still has plenty of miles to offer its new owners when it's sold. We worked hard to keep the conversions costs down, while still delivering a great looking camper van.

With the exception of a diesel heater, this has everything you'd expect in one of our conversions. The roof is another great poptop from RAP Poptops complete with zip-out panoramic canvas, roof bed and roof bars. The units from JD Camper Designs were paired with Captain Seat's M1 tested 'legless' rock n roll bed in burnt umber with orange detail. The black gloss Vitifrigo C50i fridge and CAN FL 1401 hob and sink complete the look and provide a stylish contrast with the orange gloss worktop and silver tambour door. On top of that this van comes with a steel gas locker and fresh and waste water tanks stored neatly in the bottom of the units

A double passenger swivel from Kira Vans and a full 12 and 240 volt electric install plus a 120 watt solar panel complete this eye-catching conversion.

THIS IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO OUR EVO CONVERSION AND IS AVAILABLE FROM £11,995.00. CONTACT US TO FIND OUT MORE.

VW T6 TRANSPORTER - EVO INTERIOR INSTALL

This trick-looking long wheelbase VW T6 Transporter belongs to a customer who knows exactly what they want and has a clear vision for their camper. So when things didn't quite work out for them, they came to us as a recognised Evo Design converter to fit a new interior after they'd had problems with a previous supplier.

The Austops poptop, windows, body kit, wheels, lining, Vanshades blinds and rock n roll bed were already fitted. All this van needed, was a great interior. The customer chose the Evo 2 Pod from Evomotion Design in Altofina Brushed Metal with a bamboo worktop. Evo's overhead LED light shelf and overhead lockers were paired with custom made bed boards to finish things off.

As well as building and installing all the Evo units, Sargent EC155 and Planar Diesel Heater control panels, CBE switches and sockets, and floor level LEDs, we made a set of custom speaker pods and tidied up cables left exposed when the previous rear locker was removed.

We really like the choices the customer made, especially the orange detail on the trim and can't wait to see the finished result when they complete the rest of the conversion themselves.

CITROEN RELAY L2H2 - BESPOKE CAMPER
The first van we ever converted was a Peugeot Boxer so when we were asked if we could work on its identical twin - a Citroen Relay -  we were happy to take a trip down memory Lane.

The customer hadn't had much luck finding a company to produce the camper they wanted, so they asked us. We love custom commissions and quickly had a design that ticked all the boxes, which included a fixed double bed in the rear, a pullout bed in the living area, toilet, hob, sink, oven and grill, microwave, hot and cold water, heating, fresh and waste water tanks, and a TV, all squeezed into a medium wheelbase van.

The layout and all the units were designed by us in CAD and then sent to Quad CNC to be cut, drilled and edged ready for us to build.

The trick to this van was to save space,  so we chose CAN's new CU5010 oven and grill, FL1401GP 2 Burner hob and sink which kept the depth of the kitchen pod as shallow as possible. The next challenge was where to put the Vitifrigo GR50 fridge. Our solution was to fit it under the bed with plenty of soundproofing and ventilation so the fridge could work properly and people sleeping in the bed could get a good night's sleep.

The van was full of innovative solutions from the pullout bed which slides out easily on its Accuride runners, to the electrics install which are housed in a slimline space-saving cupboard in the toilet cubicle. Power management and charging are provided by CBE's PC180 kit paired with a 150watt solar panel and 20amp charger.

To make sure the van looked as good as it performed we chose LED light strips from EVO Design, blinds from SwellShades and fitted black nickel sockets and switches. We think the results speak for themselves.
